but my teacher says that it is enough if i traswer an information and he tols me that i shouldn't explain exactly the information, so I don't know who is right. Beside that writing I'll be back soon I mean that I don't leave my guest for a long time so I won't be for a while. Could you agree with that???????
Dear Guest, I really wish u all the best, all I said was I WOULD GIVE U FULL SCORE, but I am not sure about the examiner, let's hope he or she won't be nasty!

TO John!!!!
I walked out to the library!
Don't be mad! I'll be back soon!!!
Have a toast with honey for a breakfast!!!
When I come back we will go to the park!!!
So don't be angry!!!
Hey, the cutest thing about exclamation marks is that there should be either one or none. Any other combination is just plain wrong.

I have also put "the" in 13.9. And what about "drive" in 13.5? I know that it's logically incorect, but grammaticaly? In my opinion CKE should accept these answers!!!!

In 13.5 i've put 'have to be driven'...is it correct? i have one more question: in 5.4 you put the 'A' answer, during the exam i was thinking about both: A and C, and finally i've chosen C. I claim that the sentence is unclear, and C should be accepted too.:) what do You think about it?????

they shouldn't and they won't. The instructions say that answers must FIT LOGICALLY AND GRAMATICALY. Sorry

i asked some English teachers- they said 'hadn't reached' is a right answer (but they didn't see the original text). Could you comment the 13.5 ( 'have to be driven'...is it correct? )?

It seems to me, that I will stay at home all the next year. This exam was for me very important, becouse I wanted (still want) to study English, but I screwed up.
Live is brutal.

i think that in such important tests there should always be the only one correct answer.. in our test there were too many unclear options.. and now we have hundreds of questions! it's not fair..:|

but that's the idea of the exam. To choose the best possible anwser. I have to say, that although I never was a very good student, I had all the anwsers after the first listening. All in all, the bac wasn't so hard. There are just few unclear things for me, all of them are from the use of english part, but that's my weakness....

so we have the similar weaknesses;) in fact, if i hadn't been sitting in the first desk with the 'boombox' just above my head;) i think i would have everything correct:p

In my school there are lots of people who came back from abroad, especially USA and GB. Few of them didn't have all the listening anwsers, although they are fluent in this language. I'm talking about both levels, extended and normal. And coming back to my first question. Can I please one of the specialists for an anwser?? Those who were abroad for al long time say it's "didnt reach", but my english teacher, the coordinator of the Bilingual Bac in Warsaw says it's "hadn't reached". Waiting......

I am not from Warsaw ;) I am not a native speaker. BUT I AM A TEACHER, not world famous but not totally unknown in MY city . I am one of Longman matura experts. I think didn't is correct and I explained the logic behind the scenes at www.matura.org. That's the way I thought at first, then the original text confirmed it, I could discuss the possibility of 'hadn't', but I would just need some explanation of "hadn't" I could refer to. I am not always on this forum, it is interesting but I have too many other duties, so if u need my assistance, email me @ help@smart-edu.net.
Anyway, who gives a damn what YOUR teacher or ANY teacher thinks? Your tests will be corrected according to the almighty _CKE_ key and that's it. What we have been doing for the last few days is just a linguistic discussion for the sake... of discussion. Still maybe it shows we are THINKING creatures? Does it give any consolation to anybody? ;) I hope it does...

Sorry I only now noticed that cute line and I couldn't resist commenting on it ;) R u sure u know what 'please' means? And consequently r u sure u want to please the specialists? Don't be angry, that's JUST funny :) But be careful, hipo!

Oh, thanks for correcting me. I'm just a plain old pupil, don't expect too much:DDDD I promise i'll be careful:)
But if the specialist is a cute blonde then why not?
And the last thing, CKE didn't give it's official anwsers yet so the only source of our knowledge now are our teachers, and as you probably noticed I trust mine. We're just discussing and showing different opinions. I just hope I'll get sth around 90%:]

No, I don't expect TOO MUCH I have been a teacher for too long ;) and yes if cute blondes r ur type, why not ;) the problem is u said 'ONE OF the specialists' and THAT WAS RISKY ;) good luck with ur 90% and yes it is good to trust the teachers :) Absolutely.

To be quite honest with you I don't know. It seems that you have included three out of four information and about general correctness of your passage I don't like the phrase "walked out" and those multiple exclamation marks. For me it's either 3/5 or 4/5. Depends on the examiner. Personally, I would give you 3 points but hell, what do I know? It's only a basic level for God's sake.

hi, I was considering WHEN in the sentence ", (...)they were using the back gate, (...)" but with this comma it would be incorrect, am I right? I wrote FOR, meaning BECAUSE. Unfortunately, nobody gave such an answer and I have no idea if they will give me a point. The distance was shorter BECAUSE they were using the back gate. That's why I wrote FOR. Could you answer me?
