Most people say "What's the time?" or "What time is it?". But "Do you have the time?" is also correct.

Hello everybody!
I started to learn english about 10-11 years ago when I was 6-7. It was a normal, boring day... I sat in front of my computer and I started to surf in the net. I had a very big willing to learn english so I found ANTIMOON website. I have found there great mothods to achieve it. Throughout I thought the best mothod to learn it is to do a lot of excercises, learning grammar rules. I was wrong. I have never thought the best method is to read, to speak and to listen english. It's simple! It works! Learning english gives me very big opportunities, I am able to talk with people around the world, I can get a good job and I can feel powerfull. Probably it gave me chance to get a bigger salary when I will be a good employee.

The only way to learn to speak English is to speak it. The ideal method is go to an English-only place. Another approach is to find a person whose native language is English and who wants to learn your language. One place to find such people on the Internet is <http://www.livemocha.com/>. A third way is to simply repeat things you hear. I use this basic method in my free podcasts at <feeds.feedburner.com/eslaloud> There are currently 26 lessons there. You can use them in any order, but listen to Podcast #1 first. Good luck!

i think watch with eng sub-titles is better, but must give attention to what the TV is "saying" .

Well, what I would do is to find as many gaijin foreigners in Japan and try to speak with them. But be aware that they are there to learn Japanese and Japanese culture as well so make a deal with them that they speak to you in English if you help them with their Japanese.

I would certainly enjoy that but I'm not in Japan right now and I don't have skype...but I do want to make Japanese friends but I'm so shy...
